a typical eolian building within a flourishing vegetation of palm trees, banana-trees, hibiscus and bright colours of bougainvilleas, stands at only 100m from the main beaches (le acque calde at east, where it is possible to bathe almost all year round, thanks to its hot water springs and the sabbie nere at west) and from the harbour, where hydrofoils and ferry-boats dock and from the mud pools for thermal cures (suggested for respiratory tracks, rheumatism, arthroses and dermatological problems).
In order to offer the highest relaxation for guests, La Giara has drawn up an agreement for the access to the geothermal pools, which arise within a green area just behind the little square of the island, full of traditional and wine shops, boutiques, banks and other public offices.
